The pollen had Henry in lock down mode, not leaving our Escape Van, the entire morning.  After three hours, hoping Henry would rise, we hit the road.  But not without a little gem of an experience…

Best Thing – Henry’s Wildlife Photographic Tour – Lassen National Park

Our first hike together on the this road trip extraordinaire, we circumnavigated Manzanita Lake the evening before.

Truly a delight, we watched a Stellar Jay poke and lift a twig, using the tool to find his evening meal.

Mallard ducks… along with four other types of water fowl dotted the lake.

Talk about placement, Henry mastered this shot in a camouflaged world.
