Gray clouds looming, thick air suffocating, heavy muck consuming, dense brush strangling… technology feels like a bad dream, or worse. Connections are never connecting. Devices are never syncing. And this foreign language is forever indecipherable. It has both Henry and I challenged.
I am trying to navigate the world of WordPress. Henry is scanning YouTube for ways to connect our WiFi Cannon G3X with our iPad. We’re both in so deep that it looks very grim. So grim, in fact, that Henry is hiding in the bathroom to avoid the task.
But the experts say, “It’s so intuitive.”
The only thing intuitive is using our body and innate sense in this world. Our journey will be taxed in many ways – extreme heat, transportation issues, sleepless nights… Some challenges will require intuition, like what to do when a bear approaches. Some will require logic, like who to call for a flat tire. But most will not require the so-called intuition that is attached to devices and this technological world.
I am growing. I now want to understand this language that so many walk in comfortably. So you will watch me stumble. You will experience my unfiltered blog feeds. You will read my text in ever-changing fonts. You will see free stock photos doubling up. Understanding, I must heighten my level of “intuition” from the natural world to the technological one, and breathe in the harmony from one storm to the next.
How FUN and ADVENTUROUS!!! So happy you will blog along the way! We will be following ( and praying) for you during your travels! ❤️
